BCCI Has Decided Not To Send Indian Team To Pakistan

Ten years later, Pakistan will get an opportunity to organize an international cricket tournament, but BCCI decided not to send the Indian team to Pakistan.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided not to send the Indian team for the upcoming Asia Emerging Nations Cup (under-23) cricket tournament in Pakistan which is held in December. After Ten years, Pakistan will get an opportunity to organize such an international cricket tournament, but the BCCI’s refusal to send Indian team leaves Pakistan tournament in doubt.

According to reports, the PCB official said that they had agreed to host the event in December on the understanding that all nations would participate in it.

In 2009, the SriLankan team, which was on a tour of Pakistan, was fired by the militants. After that international cricket was not played in Pakistan. In Asia Emerging Nations Cup 2018, India will play all the matches in Sri Lanka and the final will be played also there.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka jointly organize the Asia Emerging Nations Cup tournament. The matches between Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Pakistan will be played in Karachi, while Sri Lanka, India, Afghanistan and Oman will be played there matches in Colombo. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided that they will not be going to send the Indian team to Pakistan on any terms.

The competition will be held from December 6 to 15. All the matches in Pakistan will be held at the National Stadium, Karachi and all the security arrangements have been made, said PCB official. Security has prevented many international players from playing in Pakistan. Therefore, Pakistan is all set to win the trust of all international players by safely organize the Asia Emerging Nations Cup (under-23) tournament.

All the matches of the Pakistan team are being played at the United Arab Emirates after the 2009 assault. India and Pakistan had come across in a recent Asia Cup tournament and India had beaten them completely. India’s first match in the Asia Emerging Nations Cup will be against Afghanistan (December 7). Then India will face Oman (December 8) and Sri Lanka (December 10).
