New Zealand Team for ODI against India | India vs New Zealand 2019

New Zealand ODI Squad against India: Tom Latham, Mitchell Santner, Colin de Grandhomme recalled for India ODIs.

New Zealand announced their 14- member squad against India for upcoming ODI series. Wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham, All rounder Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner are set back to their ODI squad for the first three ODI matches of the upcoming series against India.

Jimmy Neesham and Tim Seifert not included in the squad. James Neesham, who suffered a hamstring injury during the third ODI against Sri Lanka is rested. While Tim Seifert makes way for Tom Latham as the specialist wicketkeeper.

New Zealand coach Gary Stead said his squad is preparing for the ICC Cricket World Cup in England and Wales, and focusing for a series win against India.

“Our two main priorities have been to select and prepare a squad capable of winning what is shaping as a massive series against India, and gathering as much information as possible ahead of the World Cup,” said Stead.

“Tom and Colin are experienced players in this format and will offer quality in their respective roles, and Mitch and Doug showed us what they are capable of during the T20 on Friday night.”
