England Team Squad declared for 1st Ashes Test 2019 against Australia on Saturday. England has made huge changes to the Ashes series after their poor performance in the lone Test against Ireland.

Jofra Archer named in the squad for 1st Ashes Test
Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes, who have won England the One Day World Cup, have been named in the squad for the first Test. The first Test of the five-match Ashes series begins on Thursday.
It will be a debut test match for Jofra Archer, while Ben Stokes and Jose Butler, who have rested in the match against Ireland, are back in the squad. In addition, Ben Stokes has been promoted to vice-captain of the team.
Australia was defeated by a team for the first time in the semifinals. Coincidentally, England made them taste the defeat. So the Ashes series between Australia and England is very popular now. England on Saturday announced a 14-man squad for the Test series against Australia.
Jofra Archer made a strong performance in the World Cup, took 20 wickets. He also threw a super over in a very suppressive situation and kept England. Also, 24-year-old Jofra has taken 131 wickets in 28 first-class cricket matches.
Lewis Gregory and Jack Leach have been laid to rest. Jimmy Anderson is also recovering from an injury and is likely to play the first match.
